If you sleep in the hotel bed facing up,you should be able to see the stars;the number of stars you will see will determine the hotel ranking

The rooms are a little small but you'll love the residents' lodge. And yes, it's the best in Meru town.

I have not slept there since Meru ni nyumbani but I had buffet dinner there and everything was pretty ordinary. Would not go back.... Alba is built with the executive. traveler in mind....

@Ngong, the more you cannot decipher the menu the higher the stars. If you can decipher the menu, then it's not star-rated. eg. my ngombe chapati joint is not rated whereas Les cuisses de grenouilles (Frogs' legs) qualifies for 5-star.

true. sometimes the lower star hotels try to copy 'les cuisses de grenouilles' but the spelling and product on the plate are something else
