It could be but the movement of both stocks the last one month tend to suggest otherwise.

The relationship is that both have flagship projects with a scope for serious revenues....ala two rivers/perl marina....MVNO....so stop speculating and go revise standard 6 business education curriculum in a primary school near you

@Fyatu. You are a disgrace and should have acted more mature. Grow up and manage your foul mouth.
Feel free to shove your opinions up your shitty ass the next time you feel someone is dying to hear them.

I believe i'm more mature than someone who has bad grammar and uses words such as 'shitty' and 'ass'.....tolerance is a virtue my brother/sister...this is virtual forum

smile When I see Kirubi and Centum courting China, I see him courting speed. Speed is Distance covered over a certain time period. Chinese companies have proved to be very good and effective in carrying out projects on time. For a BusinessMan like Kirubi speed Matters as it can be defined as Money made at a given time. Laughing out loudly

The madness is back. How irrational market players are continues to amaze me. Why buy something for 5 more than you were willing to buy last week?

Chinese led companies may try to drop tenders they have not won so that they do not seem to politicise their relations in Kenya especially where a local company bags the tender. The same tender may look for them as sub-contractors.

As much as I don't like the Chinese but look at the new UoN building. Being built in record time. Started the other day and now almost the tallest building around there

Was there any mention of the two cases Centum has in court, the Centum-Rea and the NEW contract on energy and mui basin coal plant?
Next we might see Centum build the tallest Tower in Africa...and alaas more tourist will envy Kenya.

Pray Investment group Centum has been temporarily stopped from signing a Sh174 billion coal power generation contract until a petition filed by a rival bidder is determined.
Justice Mumbi Ngugi on Thursday ruled that the High Court has the power to issue the orders requested by HCIG-Liketh, which has challenged the decision to award the multi-billion shilling tender to the Centum-Gulf Energy consortium.
The judge, however, threw out a petition by the losing bidder, which claimed that the tender award had violated its constitutional rights.
The appeal against award of the tender to the Centum consortium will, therefore, be heard before the petition committee.
