My condolences to the families of the gallant police officers.

I think the terrorists had a plan to go and bomb a police station. They were driving on the wrong side of the road intentionally so that they can be arrested.Upon the arrest they knew the ignorance of our officers that they wont inspect the car and will be in the vehicle.Another car was behind with the switch for the detonators. This could be a case of suicide bombers and if that is the case then this is a bad precedent.

Even though it is sad,We should ask tough questions as to what the two policemen were doing in the vehicle

My only concern is that had the guys struck a deal with the cops before they fikad the station, the car could have probably been released. Just imgn the damage it would have done had it been targeted to a club where guys were watching soccer. As I said, if they are genuine about arresting and being safe too, they just need to ask them to drive into a police station and they follow them on a motor-bike. That way, even if the guys decides to detonate the thing, they will just die alone and am sure they are always ready to die.

in all these that's your only concern! Pray

As I write this. I am very biased. Those who know me know why. So forgive me if I don't listen to cops and their stories.

The story that ectacy just quoted is the tip of the iceberg. At least these people had the mindset to honga the cop. What happens to you when you don't do it and worse don't even have the money.

We are not all Mr. jaggaeurnaut.

We are crying about a bomb. We are not asking why the hell a bomb should go off when policemen are around. If the cops are dying, what about you.

I am very unlucky to have lived in a system where cops are really cops. And rouge cops are everywhere I tell you. But foolish cops rare.

I know the "guests" read this. I know for a fact Itumbi is always here. With different psedonames.

Murchr told us that Uhuru reads this.

So this is to them.

Come on guys, this is not 1974. Ati we have Patrick Shaw.

My president said juzi. That every terrorist shall be caught. And the cops will do so within the law.

Who here want's to stand up and be counted and believe this "arrest" was done within the law.

Sometimes, Mr. Policeman, that law is made to actually protect you from ODM guys like Alma.

So the shit happened. Did anyone see the photo of the cops collecting "forensic" evidence. My goodness, one of the cops had one of those big jackets that can carry big bombs.

Kweli, they don't watch CSI?

Somehow, someway, some guy was making a joke on wazua.....and walla! They were going to bomb Jeff Koinange.

First, that's very stupid.

Second, it means that there is a mole in the police since they knew where ore nenku would be together with the IG. At the same time as Mr. Jeff.

Their reasoning was more scary than the fact that policemen take "suspected" terrorists to their home pub without frisking them.

Sorry, Mr. President. Since I've been told you read this.

This is not security anymore. I'm saying this as a father of some kids who lives next to an estate that the People has identified that only Somalis from Somalia live in.

Seriously....Do we even have an estate of only jarous from nyalgunga and only them can enter.

Or are the Somalis from Somalia so special.

That story had better be a lie.

But you can read about it here. Then Mr. President, read the comments. www.thepeople.co.ke/2989...mali-village-in-nairobi/

Ore Nenku. I know if your guys are sharp, you know you know me. And have met me. If you ask them how do I know you know me and you don't, fire them.

You are a good fella. I know that personally.

But thus far, you aren't taking this seriously.

One night in South C will not get you a terrorist. You shall be arresting the maids.

This so called bombing is a wake up call. Change the police or life will take the police one at a time. And we shall call them HEROES.
Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.

@Maka, is this the section of the law that they use?

Section 105. of the Traffic Act
Inspection of vehicles
(1)

It shall be lawful for any police officer in uniform to stop any vehicle, and for any police officer, licensing officer or inspector—
(a)

to enter any vehicle;
(b)

to drive any vehicle or cause any vehicle to be driven;
(c)

upon reasonable suspicion of any offence under this Act, to order and require the owner of any vehicle to bring the vehicle to him,

for the purpose of carrying out any examination and test of the vehicle with a view to ascertaining whether the provisions of this Act are being complied with or with a view to ascertaining whether the vehicle is being used in contravention of this Act.
(2)

Any person who fails to comply with any instruction or order given under this section shall be guilty of an offence and liable on a first conviction, to a fine not exceeding thirty thousand shillings, and for a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand shillings or to imprisonment for a term of one year

Mr Ahmed Dugal Ali (right), the owner of the vehicle which exploded at the Pangani police station killing four occupants in a Nairobi court on April 25, 2014. He is with Mr Abdiaziz Bulle Ali (centre) and Mr Mohammed Abdullahi Falir.

@Alma, since you live with Somalis..ask them why they dont mingle with other Kenyans freely, why do they have to live in South C if not Eastleigh? Another thing CSI is an act dont be fooled by what you see. The actors confess that they act out what they wish to see. The reality is different, if Kiash can be sincere he'd tell you the truth, the situation is not as bad mainly because those who enroll for the job do it for the love of it, not as a means of survival.

So say a prayer for the families of those dead cops and stop whining

I.G Kimaiyo has posthumously promoted the two cops killed in the Pangani car blast from Constables to Corporals. One of those who survived has been promoted from corporal to sergeant and the other from constable to corporal. The "promotion" and promotion takes effect from the date of the blast.

It is a cheap publicity stunt. Nevertheless, the benefits that will go to the deceased's kin are slightly more cause of the promotion. And that is a good thing.

Maybe and just maybe could it have been a failed staged attack?

Is it possible somebody was loading the assembled thing there at Pangani Police, to be transported to some target destination, and unfortunately went off too early? And now the rest of the plan was abandoned.
