This counter needs rebasing to sort out it's extremely low share price appreciation. All insurance counters have rallied apart from it. Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

Again, I was asking a question. The 60% GoK holding may be the millstone if KenRe needs GoK permission to expand into other areas of investment or expansion due to the slow approvals reminiscent of how government works. only problem with knre is the majority gava share holding.gava will screw up investors anytime through roadside announcements. I find satisfaction in owning great business,not trading them

I was going through my past records of shares i have bought
I noted that in Dec 2007 i had bought Kenya Re at sh 17.
That is 7 years ago!! and what is it trading at today?
I cannot understand this share anymore

What is the percentage of compulsory re-insurance business/revenue to the total business/revenue?

I cannot understand this share anymore This is what happened, the share has since declined to 7 bob and then its back up. Do the math for those who bought at the low and have sold at the high
