@R Shaft, her prize money for the win is put into good use through Green belt movement. She's now taking a bigger responsibility being co-chair of 100 Million Dollars fund for conservation of Congo Forest. This is a true Kenyan Hero who has very little recognition in my opinion. I think she ought to be honoured and a road or a monument named after her in her honour.

i loved that book.it explained so much! stuff that i used to read /hear during the 80s were placed in context. she was indeed unbowed.
