...Easier to buy an under-valued stock than pick a market bottom...

I rather prefer to think that there is no such thing as an undervalued or cheap counter; for there must be a very good reason - if one digs deeper - why those whose job it is to know these things better than I, and are in charge of huge funds, have not seen such cheapness or undervaluation. We all know, they r like sharks n a cheap counter would reek of blood.

Mpigs extinguished? I wudnt bet on a resultant boom. There are so many hyenas roaming the country waiting to replace them.... na wengine they see far n have lined up their offspring to outdo them, mtoto wa hyena, ni hyena.

Financial analysts are just as dumb as everyone else.Infact its their job to pick overvalued stocks and declare them to have an underlying value, they are just oxymoron.

There is this joke about an economist and his friend,as they are walking along the crowded streets the friend sees a 100 dollar bill on the sidewalk,as he bends over to pick it up the economist retorts "that cannot be a 100 dollars" the dude asks why the economist replies "if that were really a 100 dollars someone should have picked it up before us"
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

@slykat - You have been brainwashed by something called 'Efficient Market Theory'.

Bw. Warren Buffett loves EMT coz it allows him to buy 'cheap' stocks...

You cannot rely on other Financial Analysts... do your own research as far as is practical...

There are 3 counters I am interested in... I think people have failed to see the value so... I am buying as many as I can with the cash I have...

I have skewed my portfolio over time... trying to 'over-weight' myself in these 3 counters...

I have done my research... and often go against the 'conventional wisdom' but... overall... it has paid off...

@kizee - WB likes EMT coz OTHERS believe in it... LOL... So he benefits from the 'followers' of EMT... coz they think the market price reflects all available information but there is an asymmetry...

WB does not believe in EMT...
