Going by the maxim;
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done
Every gambler knows
That the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away
And knowin' what to keep
Yatafakari hayo!!!

At this point at 12.40, CIC is an investment not a gamble

@12.40 CIC is printing a new all time high. Initial print was 12.20 before bonus issue of 1:5. Madness this market! Panic buying galore

With the knowledge of the plan to double the NAV maybe not all is panic buying. Some could be sensible buying, no?

@Hisah, is there a reason to the madness? How long can it go on ?

No idea. Wish there was a tool to measure market madness (panic buying/panic selling) in order to see when it's about to derail...

How far it can go will also depend on the time frame. Giving it another year might even see it trading at a price close to 30.
Once they issue out the bond, there will be news all over on how they intend to utilize the cash. Remember they are sitting on prime land in Nairobi, am sure they will start bringing up property ki-Britam sytle not to mention the regional expansion spree!!
Seeing is believing

I called my broker and he has just informed me that there is NO SUPPLY for this gem...I talking of 40 here before the year ends...Is that too high a price?

I think another year is a very long time...This thing is closing at 40 before the year ends...we have 3 months to go and we have just started...

Somebody said 40 was too high when Britam clocked 25...i saw they have revised that to 80...lets wait for mr.market to do his work, but with several year highs, this market can spring up with anything!!For now, lets wait and see....
