This was eaten around 4th July yawa

Anyway call them on these numbers with your CDS account ready and ask for shares registry, they will sort you out:
Telkom 277 6000
Safaricom 0703 027 000
Zain 0736 690 101

The online system shows the shares but CDSC bado. I have been waiting for 3 months to get my bank details changed. This org needs a shake up

The counter/bank has now been re-energised and woken up from the deep slumber.

What was left... after KCB, Equity and HFCK have rallied... I need to check out the PER vs the others though it can't compete vs Equity in innovation coz of the shareholding structure.

The bank is still not rising as it seems strong. It has a big headroom to move up to 40 Kes. How much could banks make by building their own office towers and investing in other stocks as Nominees and Real property in Counties?

With an EPS of 2.17 and a PE of 9.xy at 20, its fairly priced. At 40/- that would be running on fumes

Hi all,

Here are some of my thoughts on why Coop Bank shares jumped last week.

Here's Why COOP Bank Stock Popped 12%

Would love your feedback and reactions to the rank of the NSE's most efficient banks.

Thanks and happy investing!

@hooverll.. I like ua site.. Its pretty well done. The comments on coop are half true.. Its not solely the reengineering expert that made coop rise.. I sense its their rapid rise in QonQ growth in profitability that shall see it as the only bank whose Q3 results shall be higher than its full year 2013 PBT

@Obiero what makes you put Britam in the same basket as MSC, Express, Olympia etc.? However i agree on selling off Coop soon after results. One can get serious ulcers waiting for it to crawl up

Oh and i forgot to say... helllooo. Admired Wazua for a lil while decided to dig in

hello. Britam is on the list for same reason as transcentury

@Obiero now why are you toying with serious questions. Answer the question we are waiting...

private clubs

Some private clubs are more efficient and make more money.

It all depends on who is in the private club. There are clubs i would definitely want to be a part of.

Kenya Orchads has taken market manipulation to heights higher than those set by City Trust

@obiero ... When were City Trust shares ever manipulated? There was value not recognized by many. Did you know City Trust was a major owner of I&M Bank shares? Buying City Trust was similar to buying I&M Bank shares? And City Trust told the shareholders that every year [back as far as I remember] and those who were patient, harvested. BTW, the chairman of City Trust was a 50% owner of City Trust shares. He never sold his shares as long as City Trust was City Trust.

Now compare that to my travails with KQ. Useless buggers [board and management] who had few shares [0.01% or less] were playing with fire to expand the airline [debt] and failing miserably. Losses in 2012-13 and 2013-14 (& wait for 2014-15 HY] wiped out profits made since Titus [zero shares in KQ] took over.

Give me another City Trust any day!

Strange price actions on this stock.
Yesterday it started at 19.5 then floored to 18.05 then recovered somewhat to 18.6.
Today started at 19.5 then now dropping to 19.0.
all these swings on very little volume of less than 10k shares.
What gives ?
