This stock price is on a downward spiral ,should we still expect it to continue shifting downwards ?

Trading ex bonus this is expected. usichagae, sisi tuko hapa ndani ya bus,tunapiga lap (7.0-8.0) tukibeba.

Expected price behaviour when a counter goes exbonus.

Price a day before exbonus was 10.05. Expected bonus dilution is 20% so price projected to readjust downwards to 10.05 - (10.05 x 20%) = 8.00.

Let the discouting continue smile

I have never traded a stock immediately after book closure for bonus. I need someone to tell me if I traded my shares on 1st August (books closure is on 31st July) do I have any guarantee that my bonus will reflect once cdsc posts them out to shareholders.. If not I definitely have the right to complain, right?

As long as you were still holding them on dday. Selling after dday won't make you miss out on getting your bonus loot smile

So to sell immediately after booksclosure is advicable yes?d'oh!

That depends on your goals. If for speculation and you got in at a lower entry you can cash out to grab your gains.

@ Chief got in at 8.45. I will wait

Is the rights issue still on or only the bonds issue is on? Or are they both on? (Is that even possible?) I've been searching but haven't found any conclusive information.

Dropped the rights issue for a corporate bond to be issued in two stances of 3 and 2 billion respectively.

I'll be on the look out for the information memorandum just as you @shrewdinvestor. I think a bonds issue would be better than a rights issue for the company.

@shrewdinvestor
Rights issue will be coming probably next year or the other year.They wanted to do an NIC style (bond and rights issue together) but couldn't because the SACCOs who are the majority shareholders weren't ready

Definitely,a corporate bond is far much better and easier to execute than a rights issue.Me too will keep googling and making calls.As for now lets wait for a Wazuan elder/veteran to unravel the puzzle as we wait and see where this bull is taking usPray Pray

Now with the increase in the authorised share and with the details of how they intend to use the money;
Investment in property will amount to Sh1.7 billion or roughly a third of the Sh5 billion the insurer is planning to raise.
Regional expansion will take up Sh1.3 billion,
Recapitalisation and other corporate activities Sh1.2 billion
An undisclosed medical project will use the balance of Sh800 million
