Apart from their expansion spree into other countries plus the ambitious real estate projects, I don't know what else is pushing this thing up. Looks like we headed back to the pre-bonus price. smile

I think they have adopted Britam's way of doing business;expansion as well as real estate ventures.Have also partnered with Matatu Saccos to offer insurance. Its more of an investment company.

A new competent CEO would be in place around that time. A company with a great management team is bound to have a good share price in the short run! It is a must buy for me!Laughing out loudly

I'm curious...how do you judge the competence of a new CEO?

Insurance is a delicate business which if Your strategy does not work , You may go under . The strategy to co-work with matatu saccos , expansion plan into South Sudan may be costly in my opinion. Venturing into real estate is a plus and I also hope their expansion plan into Malawi would be through acquisition of a local insurance firm there other than direct market entry. The stock price today exhibits positive energy.

I'm heavily invested in CIC. Keen to see how their new transformation strategy will bring efficiencies and increased reach. Hopefully the new DGCEO will bring some of his ethos from Pan African/Liberty.
