I can confidently say this is one stock i'm accumulating for my grandchildren;the sitoki na sitoki movement.

Aggressive growth strategy, young energetic management & a chairman who knows how to push deals through. Let us enjoy the ride in Centum 3.0.

Isn't it easier to get a special dispensation, like Chris Kirubi, from a politician and give the politician a % of the action?

@CKirubi in @BD_Africa talks about how he gave daniel corrupt moi an ownership stake in International Life House in exchange for greasing CK's way to get scarce forex [forex controls] to buy International House vs using that forex to pay for fertilizer, equipment, spares, etc that could have benefited many more Kenyans.

Reflects the movement in the share price not the profits or NAV.

Kweli when it rains, it pours.

Stock was stuck at 39 to 40 for quite a while but just breezed though to 60 in two months.

Some of us Kenyans are just happy to see foreigners come and create themselves wealth using our resources and go away. We seem to be happy while we see our own suffer as we amount to classifying ourselves in that order.
What we create in our country remain here unlike what other people come create and take away.
We need to change that facade of thinking to build Kenya.
A rich Kikuyu employs Luos, kikuyus, kambas, but a rich whiteman, Indian will come , use our resources, create wealthy for his country and we only get taxes and paltry jobs with warning that they will close shop because of taxes or if not allowed to hire more expatriates.

Sad sad sad reality of the current situation. This will also not change anytime soon unless , we as kenyans and everyone in particular shares the same sentiments.

Let it rain from the mega deals of Centum!
Let it rain from the curvaceous acquisitions of Britam!
But not only there; let it rain from the soon magnificient results of Kenya Power!
Let it rain from steep steady rise of Kenya Orchards!
Let it rain from every share of recently listed N.S.E share in Westlands.

yesterday i watched the interview btw grand mulla and kirubi's son in low. I think the grand mulla is overstated. He did not have facts on the coal plant. i believe centum will do the coal. the tweets and matusi just cracked me up.

Grand Mulla said the company he represent will get coal from south Africa for 25 years. He agrees no Kenyan partner in his company.Chinese will ship back all earnings for 25 years to China. Centum/Gulf and Chinese company will after 2 years get coal from Kitui. At least Centum ,some money will flow to shareholders no matter how small it is.Grand Mulla says Centum is a small company(nothwithstanding chinese partners) not capable of this deal.It was a pity to see how projects are given to foreigners will little Kenyans partcipation. And Lawyers are their to leap their huge fees for the same.
