Good but it will take some time to regain the top spot. Profitability will take a 1-2 years. Decent profitability (ROA) will take much longer.

How rich is Mumias sugar?- The land, the bottled water, the ethanol fuel, the co-generation plant, the sugar milling etc.
We have seen most Agri-business companies with acreage of land having their stocks go up. Now the infamous 3.0 Kenya Orchards has become smart and is trading at 20.0. Will Mumias take after Orchards?
Can we start growing sugarbeets for mumias if cane is hard to grow.
In UAE- (desert land) a 2 Kg sugar pack costs ~100-115 kes, while in KENYA an Agric country it costs 250-300 kes (3 times)Sad Sad d'oh! d'oh!

Coz you pay for inefficiencies, high sugarcane prices, etc... In Dubai, they import 'cheap' sugar devoid of crazy additional expenses!

Now a profit warning. The projected loss for the year ending June 2014 will be more than 25% of the loss reported in 2013
