Good people, im planing to do CPA section 1 exams come december this yr. Question is, in Nairobi, which institutions offer this course distant learning? En do they give relevant materials for studying?

The CPA syllabus changed and the first exams under the new syllabus were sat in Dec. This means that some distance learning material is probably now irrelevant. I have used Strath DLC for four sections. I don't know if they reconstructed their DLC material yet. I have no experience of the KCA DLC

Passed by Strathmore University some time in Sep 09 and was informed they were no longer selling Distance Learning Packs as they were re-issuing them for the new syllabus - guess they must have the new ones now.

What was the benefit of changing / what's in the new CPA syllabus anyway?

Yap, strathmore has kits for the new syllabus, upto section 4. Il stick to that! Cald kca, receptionist thea aint sure if they have dlc...
