I am african! these borders were created by some europeans seated in berlin some 130 years ago. the fact of the matter is - going forward if we are to make any kind of progress and seen to be making any kind of progress we should try to break these fictitious boundaries that have made us look disjointed. We should style up.
European borders are indeed superficial borders.
African borders are more clearly defined and more permanent. Especially as pertains to ethnicity.
If those West Africans come here, you and I and we will implement tribalism, as usual, upon them. We would have it no other way.
Pan africanism, solidarity, is as deep and wide as the European borders - superficial.
