Hi wazua friends!

I intend to construct a simple house along the Kikuyu Wangige road.

Which place is the most convenient for getting the construction stones?

Is it Ngong(And where exactly in Ngong) or is it Ndarugu?

I appreaciate any info i'd get on this since i have very little experience in construction.

Do you want clay bricks, simply go to Kenya clay products, if you want building blocks (stones) then Ndarugu.

I would recommend Ndarugu. You can get good machine cut stones from various Ndarugu quarries.I bought a load of 1000 pieces at Ksh 26 each and they were very good and all in a 10 wheeler please note that transport is additional cost. The number of broken stones was less than 25 stones. That was 4 months ago. This load managed a 2 bedroom plan up-to the lintel. You can visit Greystones Quarry at Ndarugu.i have a contact person if you are interested.

Ndarugu any day.I like the fact that you have several color options there.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

But just be careful you dont end up with the water soaking type. They are normally blackish. They break easily and are normally cheaper. Go for the whitish or brown type.
