True. seems the Southern kaleos, ie the kipsigis, mixed with the lighter Bantus and dorobos as they migrated southwards (to kericho and bomet ) from sudan and that's why they are lighter. Their brothers to the north ie nandi, keiyo, tugen, marakwet, pokot are very dark and resemble their Sudanese cousins.
