The night slowly and gradually changes into day. Day slowly and gradually changes into night. This phenomena is only possible if the shape of the earth is spherical. It is not possible if it was flat.
If the EARTH was flat, there would be a SUDDEN CHANGE!
It is amazing that this was already documented 1400 years ago!!
Quran sura Luqman chapter 31:29 says:
"
Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into Day and he merges Day into Night; that He has subjected the sun, and the moon (to his Law), each running its course for a term appointed;"
not really! doppler effect would still lie to you on a flat plane. my question is... What is after the 164 feet of ice and what is below the earth? apparently all stars and planets are 32 miles wide. But I reckon these guys don't even believe it themselves as they talk about 'hemispheres' in their answers.
@masukuma, don't even go there. These guys are lying to us that, we are not able to see beyond the 164 feet!! Yaani, in this time and age where we have sattelites and we are able to communicate with our people in kina @kiash and as far as the Far East etc
You see I don't blame the inadequacy faced by these fellows.
Even if we observe some things on this universe, we cannot conceptualize infinitude creation. Even within an individual himself, we don't know everything about our own bodies!
What I said in the above post is that, in outer nature we can see that there is no clear-cut line between night and day: each merges into the other. Yet the sun and the moon obey definite laws. Though they seem to go on forever. Yet their existence and duration themselves are but an atom in the great universe. How much more "merging" and imperceptible gradation there is in the whole universe?
