how do you force a witness to testify? he/she will do more damage to your case than before! the guy gets on stage and start saying he was paid! recants everything that is 'in writing' and says he was paid to say it and that he has never been anywhere close to the suspect - anamwonanga tu kwa TV. halafu? how does that help your case? if no single witness is saying what you want them to say. think about it - forcing witnesses to testify is like using up your witness slots building the accussed case! these witnesses are his witnesses and they are on your time. Bado accussed hawajaanza kuleta witnesses wao.

@Masukum, I am not a lawyer, but its no rocket science here pure logic. The OTP and court suffer when they force witnesses to testify. The damage right now is so massive to the OTP its irreparable, now the court wades in this matope d'oh! d'oh!
