So everyone else ignored this SUPERB results, yet are busy "HYPING" KK recovery.

YEAR .. REVENUE .. ASSETS
2010 .. 4,529M ... 25,632M
2011 .. 5,846M ... 25,639M
2012 .. 7,227M ... 35,820M
2013 .. 9,461M ... 46,903M
(2014). 6,025M ... 55,150M *** Half Year Only

Currently, total assets are more than double as when they were listing in 2011!

This highly profitable company is making more half year profits than Full year profits just two years ago!!!

A 32/- price per share is coming SOON on a screen near you!!!!!

@dunkang which would you celebrate more. Your child moves from position 5 to 2 in end of year exams or the one who moves from last in class to somewhere in the middle.

The results are stellar, but am waiting to see what Jubilee gobbles up in its quest to expand and perhaps remain lead insurer in the region. Its panning out to be another Equity vs KCB race in the insurance sector.

Very good results. Before we discuss price... what is the PER (if FY is 2x HY) and the P/B based on HY?

@vvs how much of this is equity bank valuation movement? And how much of it is also HF Movement. It would interesting to know how their underwriting businesses in life and general are doing because my back of the envelope calculations tell me these profits are equity bank and hf upward movements and that the underlying underwriting businesses are nothing to cheer much about. I could be wrong though.

@kausha kweli kabisa. Most of the profits is upward movement of hfck and Equity and not real money or money from the underwriting business.
Second half the profits might not be double the first half profits as highly unlikely equity and hfck will rally by an equal margin.
In the insurance sector the company that usually gives an accurate picture of trading results is Kenya Re and now CIC following suit.
