Imagine. I have always trusted them till now.
I always fuel at shell [though I'm a KenolKobil share holder!]. It's a big suprise that even multinationals cannot regularly inspect what their dealers are selling! What the hell does the name mean? It's just a bloody name if you don't have internal mechanisms to guarantee quality.
Franchise restaurants for example go to great lengths to guarantee that if you eat something at location A it tastes EXACTLY THE SAME is the one you ate in location B! This involves ensuring uniformity in sourcing of ingredients, mixing ratios, preparation process, cooking duration and temperature etc. JAVA for example even have a person/team who decides the music to be played everyday! The music is pre-selected and compiled the sent to each of the outlets.
That is how multinationals, franchises etc. should operate. The name only should tell me exactly what I'm getting my self into. And your INTERNAL MECHANISMS should guarantee this will always be the case!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
