Good luck. After my poor experience with KPLC due to broken government promises, back-tracking and roadside announcements, I gave up on most GoK controlled entities that are politically sensitive e.g. KenGen, KPLC and even KQ.

I read there are some issues GoU has with Umeme. I don't have the details but I have decided to stay away.
