If this is fundamentally true, it is outrightly dishonest. Makes one wonder the prudence in choosing CIC as an investment; speculation yes but definitely not a first-rate management move.

@sang252 (who knows what he is talking about) says that CIC restated 2013's profits significantly downwards so the PAT x3 is not what it is claimed to be.

I believe it happens a lot,now imagine what a green investor would think of the results,we need to grow up as an exchange,people need to be held accountable...it may be well within the appropriate accounting standards but it's wrong ethically.

Things are thickkkkkk the hello in me,saw the thread headline-CIC's 1H 2014 pbt jumps 67% -and my heart skippd a bit,with excitment but now after wazuaing..yaani they have done that..wolololo my simple maths tells me that the profits jumped downwards -suicidal ..by 68%
will they also restate end of year resualts?????????????

reporting restated results with no explanation & without mentioning the original numbers is misleading the public.Hope they shed more light
