Hello, Am planning to buy share and i want those whose price is less than 20Ksh. Please advice me on the best share to buy. I plan to keep the share for more than one year. Your opinion will be highly appreciated. Bulls make money, bears make money and pigs get slaughtered.

I however want to urge you to go beyond using the price of the share in isolation but rather look at the expected return on the minimum as a criteria; there are many. There is nothing as dangerous as an Idea, when there is only one Idea

The reason am looking at the price is that i dont have a lot of cash hence buying expensive share will give me very few shares Bulls make money, bears make money and pigs get slaughtered.

When I read such comments, it reminds me of my experiences as a hello in 2011 when there was a bad bear market. I recommend the intelligent investor for starters. If you do not educate yourself about shares, then some old guards here will be making money from millions like you who cant differentiate price and value. I was lucky because I was broke so I only lost small amounts of cash back then and learned invaluable lessons. A successful man is not he who gets the best, it is he who makes the best from what he gets.

Dont be lied to by the hype, read, seek knowledge and wisdom, then invest.

The guy asked for a good buy of <20 for crying out loud. Ofcos looking at the price alone is not advisable, but hey, if he wants to accumulate more shares why not dive into a good and undervalued counter of a price below 20. @edwin, please research on kplc, cic or cooperative bank, those are my recommendations Seeing is believing

You can look to gather CIC at current prices which are in the region of 8.80 and sell next year around this time hopefully at about 12bob or so.

Namesake, soma mbloo, soma! Don't worship anyone here. People here have their own agendas... there is BIG money at play. Some with tens, hundreds and thousands of millions. If you don't educate yourself, you'll be a cash cow. Like someone said, The Intelligent Investor is a good start. A recommendation there, is to put not less than 25% of your portfolio in Treasury Bills/Bonds. Have you?
