There are narratives and video, personal accounts, images, perpetrators' confessions and their threats that all tend to give a consistent depiction.

While you may try your outmost to best a single image, crying "photoshop", bear in mind the preponderance of the other facets of the truth. Quran may or may not say harm the captives or innocent people but the hadithis do and there can be no muslim without hadithi.

And hence you have absolutely no ground to say yours is the correct interpretation of the Quran and hadithis to the exclusion of all the rest.

Your plea for dialogue is a merry go round - it will give you something to talk about but will not paint Islam into brighter colours for those who have seen its dark origins and even darker perpetuation as D32 correctly observes.

I like the way guys are hiding behind "photoshop"....we have seen videos my friends, no need to upload any more gore here, but it's clear what sort of atrocities have been committed in the name of religion - both Islam and Christianity.
