Can someone comment on the 2008 Subaru Forester SH5 model.

What is different compared to the SG model.

Anybody who has tried it.

Been driven in one but never owned.Biggest difference is "new" 2008 model has CVT transmission as opposed to traditional automatic gear of SG model. No gear shift sensation & rapid acceleration & better fuel consumption.

Thanks kanyoni man.

How I wish you could say it in Kiswahili or kikuyu!

What is CVT transmission?

Import price versus local price?

CVT is Continous Variable Transmission. Someone did a lengthy explanation of it a few weeks back, but think of it like an elastic rubber band, you can pull it or shrink it as necessary depending on how many things you need to wrap. Power from the engine to the transmission is handled similarly. It is better than the stepped gear ratios in an kawaida automatic car.
