If I leased a property say house where payment is done on a month to month basis, In a case where I give a notice and stayed an exact number of months but not in sync with the landlord's payment calender of end month. For example started staying on the 6th and vacates on the 6th 5 months later yet monthly payments are made by end of the month. Am I tied to paying a whole month's rent for the 6 days I lived during my last month?

PS: Agreement mentions none of these.

To the best of my knowledge you vacate a house end of month. On 1st the house should be free for a new occupant. Your rent arrangement dates do not count unless explicitly outlined in your agreement.

Tell the landlord/agent you have a few issues and will settle the rent on 20th halafu ikifika 20th tell him you will pay in the new month and in the new month vacate the house at night.
Alternatively you can ask Ken Obura's driver how not to pay as I hear some people allied to his coalition do not pay rent since their father came from kiash.

Kumbe hii mambo ya rent watu huona mambo. The agent told me even if I leased from 6th, I'll have to vacate by end month. If I vacate on the 1st, I'll pay the whole month's for staying one day.

Karibu Nairoberry! That is why some people move in the dead of the night from Kibera to Dandora to Kariobangi North and the cycle continues!
