Did you ever find out where this one is?

I thought NSSF has just come from reducing its reliance on real estate to comply with Govt directive. Or will this project be insignificant in their portfolio? See today's BD Page 20.

The intro paragraph reads "NSSF has for the first time complied with the rule capping real estate holdings to 30% of total investment portfolio"

Depends on how you classify property. Assets like Bruce House, where the property is not for sale, it's classified as PPE (Property, Plant & Equipment). When property is constructed for sale, it isn't PPE, but an investment. By reclassifying Nyayo Embakasi from PPE to investments, they reduced PPE to the required ratio. Question of course will be why Nyayo was PPE in the first place, I suspect it had stalled for a long time which meant it wasn't an investment.
