The producers find it profitable to make products that don't last.The consumers now find it fashionable to throw away products even if they do last.The economists forgot the meaning of the word economize.Research or innovation that doesn't fit that paradigm is stifled or buried.

A world where long-term loss and destruction is acceptable for deteriorating short-term gain.Even the politicians appreciate they can gain from not solving problems.The markets are providing the carrot but reality will supply the stick.While most are focused on the carrot,there are others arming themselves for the stick.

Oh well,that's life.
