Hi Betty,

There was another discussion sometime back with ideas of some potential businesses one can venture in with that amount of capital i don't know if we will be able to get it at the moment until they are able to upload the rest of the conversations from the archive.

@ ChinaBetty, I had posted a thread on SMS Promo funding, requires 250k for advertizing. I've alread made all other costs so I require an investor who'll cover the rest. Returns are visible as you'll see from an SMS link with Safcom, interested? lewis.njenga@gmail.com you'll not use your funds without first seeing the returns.

Hello.
Traffic jams indicate cars are being bought. Kenyans are buying cars.
They must be selling. Cars are sold by car marts & individuals.
There is risk - saturated market - slow sales - stolen cars - tax evasion.
There is profit - a recent expo claimed some vehicles sell for profits of over Kshs 100,000- !
500k may allow you to enter this biz starting with a cheaper car, then you grow.
Hey, everyone - what do you think?

chicken farming - takes about 3 to 4 months to get the chicks mature and the returns are good - the demand is also very high as long as you can maintain the supply

@ChinaBetty, saw an article referenced on twitter: Run Away from Running These Businesses

Restaurants: Managers must wrestle with low profit margins and seasonal fluctuations

Direct Sales: High earners are often just sitting atop pyramid schemes

Online Retail: Good luck competing with eBay or Amazon

High-End Retail: The recession has thwarted conspicuous consumption

Independent Consulting: Many consultants spend so much time scouting work that it’s very difficult to earn steady income

Franchise Ownership: It’s a myth that franchises are far more successful than independent businesses

Traffic-Driven Web Sites: You’ll need a million page views a day before you can make a living off advertising
