Indeed. But don't forget this will spike inflation as well as operational costs for industrials while Q1 shows an econ slump...$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Im wondering what Bamburi's move will be. Dangote has made their move. And what a move! 8.5 MTA across the whole of east africa. 3.0 MTA in kenya. Bamburi has 2.25MTA in Kenya 0.9MTA in Uganda. This will be a bruising battle. But I can tell you one thing. Both Dangote/GAVA vs La farge must be scheming how to acquire EAPCC. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Word! I think EAPCC would be a good speculative buy. Caution however, a pro-longed tag of war between Dangote/GAVA and La Farge might severely erode the Co. Life is short. Live passionately.

Are we at the height of a bull Rally? 2014 Rights issues: DTB, NIC, KENGEN, NBK2015 Rights issues: HFCK? 2014/2015 IPO's and Listing by Introduction: NSE , Mayfox mining Q4 2014, flame tree group, UAP.And im sure there are others. These are all people coming for your money in exchange sell you shares. Be careful not to be short changed here. We'll need alot of vigilance by wazuans to sift out the seeds from the chuff. Intersting i have the same exact opinion on EAPCC!It can be a good play or it can be locked if the battles continues for too long. La farge has the shareholding, Gava has the muscle "political" power. Even using anti competition to kick them out The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

@sparkly may have been right. too many hello's, time to leave the Nse? @Aguy some of them are oldies of wazua check joining dates (slooow learners ,on light note ). Also wazua has become famous like Facebook........ there're many stocks holders who have no clue on day to day activities of companies/ stocks performance now when they get into wazua they aren't patient to read from posts ,understand ,digest and make good decision (personally) but want to buy/sell because so and so says it. Am also surprised at some questions ppl are asking and flood of duplicate threads. There's this WISDOM & UNDERSTANDING joining members need to exercise.; read through old posts and try to understand even from questions asked by others. All in all we'll bado here for bad for worse. Everybody STEALS, a THIEF is one who's CAUGHT stealing something of LITTLE VALUE. !!!

@sparkly may have been right. too many hello's, time to leave the Nse? I tried to bring that up in @sparkys thread and i got stones thrown at me. Anyway. Many counters topped however several opportunities can be spotted but not for the faint hearted. "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. We'll need alot of vigilance by wazuans to sift out the seeds from the chuff. @aguy - you answered yourself. When an ipo spree starts and rights issues fly about, the market's about to boil over.
Why are IPOs not sold in a bear market? Because the bear is a buyers market with desperate sellers. IPOs are exit windows for sellers. I sell/exit to you in public so that you own some of my gold. To sell a monkey you need a bull market. But not all IPOs monkeys. It's up to the investor to learn the game of spotting monkeys or those that do so take your money.
A lot of info is on the web for free, so newbies should start there and stop being lazy.$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!
