If you go to CFC HQ, they will refer you to their agents..was there on 2nd floor and was referred to agents but luckily, I was already registered.

This platform is similar to what Dyer & Blair is using. I believe its by the same developer. Wouldn't say much for Dyer customer service though.
Check it out here.

I have no intentions of moving to any other broker in the near future. I'm contented with the kind of services I receive from them in as much as I have I've had several run ins with them on matters concerning transferring cash from my CFC account to the CDS account. The day they will make everything online, I will be the happiest client.

I still do not understand how I can do online transfer of my money back and forth between my CFC bank accounts but I can not do the same with the CDS account with SBG and a CFC bank account. That's the only place they fail me. Otherwise, I'm glad I'm with them, just because they listen and respond to my complaints.

The only thing I don,t like about the itrader is the fact that they don't suspend the 10% rule when there is a material announcement.

I was thinking of opening a CFC account for eft transfers to my CDSC. And im assuming you have the CFC account with the online transfer to cds capability. If so, im bummedSad . Thats also one of the things i need to make my relationship with them perfect!

@Mucene
I suppose an informed trader would be aware of material announcements as and when they come about. However, maybe that is an area they could improve on, since not all persons may be aware of some announcements.

If you pay careful attention, it seems to be hosted by the NSE , all brokers have an online facility, some just do not want to give you control ..

Yes I have a CFC account with them. That's one area I have complained a lot. I hate the trips to the banking hall. Sorry for that if that's the reason you were to open an account with them then you'd have to reconsider. Either way, CFC will still top my list stockbrokers until that day I'll get a broker who'll allow online transfer of cash to the CDS account.

does the 100 bob fee apply to all brokers, because each time i do a trade on the SGB online platform I am charged 100 bob on top of the 1-2 % charge.

Iam also in sbg but i wish they could borrow heavily suntra's online setup,its the best and detailed platform the only problem with suntra is efficiency and reliability.suntra will frustrate an online trader to death so I had to move to sbg
..sbg"s system is shallow in details eg.No odd board,only top bid and top ask displays etc

Unfortunately not..well not my custodial services..!! I think charging those 100 bobs makes up a huge chunk of their revenue.

Living in Kisumu with no proper Brokers so I use Prime Bank as they provide Custodial Services with their Branch here..They charge me -

NSE Levy - 0.12%
CMA Levy - 0.12%
CDS Levy - 0.06%
CDS Guarantee Fund - 0.01%
CMA Compensation Fund - 0.01%
Bank Commission - 1.5%

Total = 1.82% + Revenue Stamp

What are you charged?
