@Nesta

Storymoja have started a reading club that meets at the Text Book center in Westlands (inside Sarit center). I have not taken part yet but I plan to do so, as my - only - new years resolution.

I suggest you contact: sheila@storymojaafrica.co.ke

Happy reading

@nesta, I'm personally not happy with the amount of reading I do these days. Why not start one yourself? I've seen charity clubs, investment cos in SK/Wazua... Why not an online book club?

All you need to do is ask who else is interested [count me in] and indicate genre of books [broader the better]. You could start by posting suggestions on book picks and when we all agree, we'd pick the book and share as we plough along.

Just a thought anyway, life is too short!

@Zakumi: Yeah, that's the thing.Which station is this?

@Muganda. i think that's a great idea. I had thought of it but i don't know how convenient/fun it would be to do it online. I've also never been in one so i'd like to know how things are usually run in the offline mode.

@nesta, see Oprah's book club now, always online and fun. 3 members already [nesta, muganda, memmy]. You should be suggesting book picks for the hols season.
