I'd say KPLC, Cable then KenGen. I expect the rights issue to be a prolonged affair and unless priced wisely, will be unsatisfactory.

Agreed ... What price can be fair for the rights issue especially considering the April 2006 IPO price was Kes. 11.90

It is unlikely a rights issue be done below IPO price . I see a strategic investor coming in.

Thanks, the consensus seems to favor KPLC. However all the three are still looking south. What is ailing the Energy stocks? Or perhaps It could be better to consider the oily KK & Total

Kengen is really screwed. A strategic investor will also request a discount over the market price of the shares

i think government should stop the jokes and take charge of these big infrastructure projects to develop the economy. it should not be the responsibility of shareholders to strungle on how to generate power. anyway how do other countries manage
There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

@icecube just be satisfied with the buying prices unless you want to calculate a person's net worth

A person's net worth is on 2 counters? Ok, noted...comment withdrawn.
