@lonest! I know the gap is becoming smaller as we both become tolerant, despite your competing attitude. You're still depicting Islam in a manner where you end up saying: "Muhammad the imposter, the dreamer, the epileptic", not knowing he was even mentioned in the Bible itself, by name d'oh!

But deep down in your heart, you shiver in hearing and seeing Muslims worship they way they do, because the Muslims worship exactly the way all Prophets, even Israelites prophets worshiped. including Jesus (pbuh) smile

I don't blame you, I know you didn't know about some things. You've not researched properly the two major religions. What you know about Islam is what you heard or seen on TV, or from your pastors, or from Internet etc. If only you could sit and read by yourself the basic books of these religions Pray

Do Muslims observe the Sabbath?
Why does Islam allow the eating of camels while the Torah forbids it?
Which Bible mentions Muhammad and how has it become a Muslim issue free from corruption?

@symbol if you can answer the below questions, then you've your answers:
1. Do Christians observe the Sabbath?
2. Why do Christians eat the pig, yet Torah forbids even touching its meat?
3. Is there corruption in Muslim book?

Easy questions!!!

About the four world powers, is this still about adulteration, changing, and additions in the scriptures as we have seen in the Bible by the Bible Scholars, and church allowing man-made laws to creep into the church doctrine? I want to continue talking with @lonest!

Anyway, about the four world powers, you are using the Bible and Daniel's vision, all these can be discussed, and I guess @guru is well versed about these trends.

As for me, I guess if we say these Powers correspond to the four parts of the beast, then we can assume your enumerations matches. I'm here to learn.

Alphdoti,

Yes, you did ask me to pass a message for you to Lolest. Anyhow, you too are back and there is no need for me to pursue this further.

It was about adulteration? I do not think so. I thought it was about knowing this Daniel man and what he said. But if you are more interested in continuing to talk to Lolest, then there is no harm. I can continue with Guru if she is back from Iraq. (but, um, I do not expect her back any time soon as she is helping in the building and expansion of the new caliphate).

It is the statue, not beast, lol. I am pleased to observe and to note you are of the opinion that they match.

@muriel

1. you said I've ignored @lonest. That's not true, I'm the one who told you that @lonest has ignored me.

2. Yes, this thread was more towards the church and it habit of bringing in man-made laws, which after some years will crop into the scripture (it did already) by way of NEW BIBLE VERSION, which has additions or deletions or adulteration.

3. About the colonies and world powers, you can continue narrating the story, it sounds a nice story. @Guru can catch up easily, she is not a stupid lady.

Yes, Symbols.

Rich symbolisms (how apt) and that you ask about them is giving me strange ideas about you and what you know. lol.

That those few sentences can pack that much information in them is awesome! Fascinating!

@symbol, about eating camel.

First, let me say we cannot always speak on behalf of GOD Almighty 100%. We cannot know for sure why He, allowed some things and He forbade some things.

Remember
- the lower fatty half of the cattles is also forbidden in Torah. But eating whole cow is allowed in Islam.
- Sea food with shells such as shrimp, lobster are also forbidden in Torah. But seafood is halal in Islam.
- Pork meat is forbidden in Torah. Ofcourse it is forbidden in Islam too.
- And yes, camel meat is forbidden in Torah.

Allah tells us in Quran 6:146:
"For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances)."

But camel meat is allowed in Islam, and experts give the following as possible answers:
1. Maybe it was forbidden because of their disobedience
2. In the unforgiving desert of Arabia, water is scarce, temperatures unbarable can give 2nd or 3rd degree burn, camels are the only animals that could truly live and endure such environment.
3. Camels are the only animals that could travel for a very very long time (months) without water,
in the very hot desert of Arabia, and still survive and live for long years.
4. Camels were simply made for the desert and the desert people. Horses and donkies are no match. They don't even come close.
5. A camel in Arabia can serve as a horse or a donkey for transportation, travel and even wars,
and it can also serve as a cow or cattle for milk and meat. Their skin is thick and strong, and can be used for all kinds of clothing, matrices, making tents, and much more. They're also very big and thick-boned, their bones can also be used as tools and even weapons.

So it is only normal for Allah, the GOD Almighty of Mercy, to allow for the Arabs to eat camel meat for their daily needs and survivals.

Camels are truly fascinating animals. Without them, life in the desert would be virtually impossible! They're also very very strong animals.
See this youtube video how an entire car was put on a camel's back.

A car without doors, engine, wheels is hardly an "entire car", but that is a simple, stupid and unnecessary point. Forgive me for it.

Haraam (e.g) pork can become halal in exceptional circumstances.

If there is absolutely no other halal food available and the Muslim is forced by necessity e.g. he is starving, then he is allowed to eat non-halal food e.g. pork and bacon.

2:173
Quote:
He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

6:119
Quote:
And why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors.

Back to Daniel shortly.

I am sorry for saying you ignored Lolest. Forgive me.

Yes, now I remember this thread was about the changed bibles and Daniel will somehow fit into this thread. He is not misplaced.

I will continue with Daniel and his interesting prophecies. I feel excited telling you this story.
