This country is paid for by the midro class + loans, and our rulers are chosen by masufferers.

Estimated population of the 'middle class' - 16.5%

Kenyans living below poverty line - around 50% of the population.

The middle class gains more by joining forces with the poor, who desire more income, hence even sharing of taxes, and political power to make leaders more accountable.

So the solution can't be the middle class going out to vote- there not enough middle class numbers - but forming a political alliance with the poor.

When I say some of us are politically naive, this is what I mean.

First, trying to avoid taxes without political reforms is an impossibility. And the poor don't hate the middle class.

Some of us really love self defeating corners. It so sad.

There's nothing like 'your money'. If you dodge taxes, refuse to be politically proactive how will you keep money? You'll lose it all!

You still. You don't seem to understand that you're 'buying' and 'selling', and those who are politically proactive go beyond your stereotypes.
