They have finished all the equity they raised and dipped into previous equity. Its daft to average down. The rights issue will average things down for you naturally.

I could not be bothered after I exited. I still follow it for fun. KQ raised 14bn. Lost 14bn. And like you said, they are back to Square One. Unless KQ can ramp up sales/revenue by 20+% annually, those loans for the new planes are going to hurt them. Greedy when others are fearful.
