Thomas Szasz http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Szasz has written a book on the 'Manufacture of madness'.

Hahahaha! And the manipulation of vested interest.

I got this from your post and decided to introduce the arguments by Szasz. That way we can have a conversation.

By the way, the Bible, doesn't call the atheist 'insane'. It uses 'fool'. To be foolish isn't to be insane.

Which terminology do atheists take greater exception to?

Yoohooo! Atheists! Are you around? If you are you can tell us if you are:
(a) you are mentally ill
(b) fools
(c) chicken

Is there a moment when a loaded question is helpful? No. I don't think so. Not even to the inquirer.

Does a Chicken know it's a chicken, or can a fool declare himself a fool? Or can person admit to 'madness' and be 'mad'?

If it's a question of calling people names without qualifying our thoughts, then we can be sure of not being better than the ones we seek to ridicule.

Not moral relativism; multi-culturalism. There are absolutes, and ranges, and dynamism.

Post modernism.

It works for me. What works for me is that chicken is a wonderful bird, it helps even in therapy. Perhaps Mr. Bala should be given chicken soup?
