Parallel lighting system complete with back-up gensets.....is that rocket science?

If it were happening for the first time, it can be excused. But it has happened before, both in Nairobi and Msa.

How many runways have a working lighting system in kenya? List them pliz. And were the underground cabling done under the current mgt? No! Im not defending anyone, bt we just dnt go blaming pple lyk that. All the same, the current mgt must pull up their socks to ensure the same doesnt recur.

By asking how many runways have lights, youre trying to justify our main international airport not having lights?

Oh pls!

@kularaha, ua anger is somewhat misdirected. These things happen in kenya. What I meant with the 1st statement is, there r several which used to have a serviceable lighting system bt failed only after a few years. Elewa boss, JKIA iko Kenya, na iko sawa!

Critisism of public office holders is welcome.

But let that criticism be realistic.

We can not seek to overate our capacity as a country.

Again many more strategic hubs of the world do face not dissimilar challenges.

Something need be done to avert such in future.
