Rank: Elder Joined: 2/11/2007 Posts: 1,680 Location: nairobi		the euro is damn expensive. has been on a consistent rise for the past 12 months, one year ago,my lady asked me to invest in it and i thought NO..now look at the damn thing..banks selling at 117-119. to the business pple, does the euro have any advantage over the green buck?

Rank: Member Joined: 4/28/2009 Posts: 28		@Mlefu, the Euro has been gaining ground on the dollar because of (1) The U.S mismanaging its economy (2) Fears that China and other Asian economies will exit from the U.S treasury investments and buy positions in euro bonds (3)Fears that OPEC will replace the USD as the choice currency for oil trades with the Euro. In my opinion, the Euro will continue gaining ground on both the USD and the GBP.
