and we are screwed up.....

KBC gets an order restraining ZUKU And Star Times from airing the #WorldCup on their platform through it's signal

Kenyans were forced to buy digital scrap then KTN, NTV, Citicen pulls off their signal on digital platform

KBC is following suit and telling Kenyans they are on their own. That they can only be found in the analogue clouds???

The problem is clear.

Startimes and Zuku, like many Kenyan businesses, are good at collecting monthly payments, while skiving on legitimately paying for the programs. This is what COFEK should be pursuing instead of disturbing Equity MVNO - or is that another Linturi affair?

TBC (Tanzania), TVM1 (Mozambique) are some of the Free To Air channels showing World cup. They are available freely via Intelsat 906 satellite.

I wonder whether the issue that TV rights have a territory defined. Thus for Kenya, KBC is exclusive license holder and anyone broadcasting the content must have spoken to them in financial language.
