Yaani the world is made of of 26% of children between 0-15 years

But how true are this figures?
1.World unemployment is at 6%(o.43 billion)? this cant be true
2.People actively engaged in earning a living are 60 %(1.7+1.4+0.8+0.4=4.3 billion
3.People who need support(kids and the elederly(1.9+0.577=2.477%) are a mere 34%

Why is it that over 50% of the world is poor? Or is it that those people who are actively engaged are poorly paid?
