Selling a car using fake ID. Happens with land transactions too
But with cars a bigger problem. A colleague tells me there's a CID connection. Someone sells you a car with ownership issues and they disappear. CID pounce on you out of the blues. You have a stolen car and you're arrested.
You bribe them and lose the car. It is released to the same con so that the eating game can continue.
