Funny this is my niece and i called her this morning. She is a 3rd year student at 'The'doing medicine! She claims she was acting and was paid by NTV to do that. How they settled on her ati through a campus friend to the reporter. To us she stays in campus hostels as far as we know but then again .....

She has never exhibited such 'diva' characters to us. Sad to us as a family, very sad.

The young do foolish things...
At least we know she was telling the truth about her studies.

If she were mine, I would believe her story and support her to become the best doctor ever. Lord knows she will be castigated enough on here and elsewhere before the whole thing is forgotten..

How will she live with herself going foward after the news item? Did she know it would be aired on TV? What are her parents and relatived thinking?

Afew years from now she will graduate and start practicing. ..will patients remember this clip? After the rich man moves on to the next girl, will she be able to maintain the lifestyle?



The play is easy. There will be backlash. She will then call a press conference and say she and her type are being harassed. She will then start an NGO fighting for the "Rights" of "Independent DIVAS" and a mzungu will send some dollars in the name of human rights protection.

The girl didnot even watch the episode coz she is in shaggs as we talk. Even the dad she talks about passed on in Jan 2007. Grew up in Eldi, now operates from Shaggs, Ngiya! I still believe it was stage managed for kidogo cash!

@King I hope this is true then NTV should be exposed for this!
