Every group should have rules governing what will happen if a member stops making the monthly contribution. Unfortunately, most groups will set the expulsion process in motion.

In my view, this is not only unfair, but also too rigid. Isn't it possible to have a club where some members have fewer contribution [read, shareholding] than others? After all, the greatest companies in the world are like that.

Another problem I see with investment clubs is that there is no time [or cash] limit at which members will stop contributing and starting enjoying their fruits. This, in my view is the greatest source of apathy and many members drop off along the way...eventually the club dies. In any case, why should I attend the meetings if I have no intention of pay more money into the seemingly bottomless pit?

Tribunal Committee shall serve written notice to the member stating the reasons for the proposed expulsion, and grant the member thirty (30) days for him/her to prepare a defense, if any.

In short, the tribunal committee does the actual sending away of a member.
