And our banks failed to inform us that old charges cease to apply and VISA charges now apply

VISA charges on local transactions/local banks within PesaPoint Network? Not logical unless your bank is no longer a member of Pesa Point network and transaction has to be routed via VISA.

Charges used to be Ksh 70, but they have since shot up to Kshs. 250. those previous agreements are no longer valid.
