Long story short, sequester only affects 3% of the budget, so it will not even put a dent on US economy, its just politricks as usual.

It was an inspiring TED talk. Its surprising how something so simple can change the world. The India one was very cunning. The Kibera one made me laugh,"What happened to the eye,she moved",lol.I wonder why the media here doesn't show such projects.Let me get on the other one.

Symbols yeah the Kibera one was really funny, I'm sure that eye has since been replaced mpaka I want to go see the project.
Blackberry I liked Chimamanda's talk, it was very entertaining, but I mostly disagreed with it, would like to get people's feedback.

I like her.My second talk from her.Anyway, what do you disagree with?I find her observations quite precise.Personally I've experienced some of the things she's said and seen it happen in Kenya but maybe not on the same level as Nigeria.

This might not apply to every woman but she should have talked more about the women who benefit from how the system is because some love it as it is.To quote a former classmate at uni after she cleared,"I just want to be a housewife",and she wasn't even married or seeing anyone. Her target was a rich man.The degree was for show.

Although I agree that we should embrace people as individuals,I still believe gender helps define who we are as individuals. Our differences can compliment each other.

Another brilliant presentation by Sir Ken Robinson. Any policy maker in the education sector needs to listen to this:.

Kekenya Ntaiya's talk:

indeed... there is a science delusion in place. Science is basically testing and validating and repeating.

All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
