I thought this thread was about the new durex ad whose tag line is Love Sex that started being aired recently during Prime time news.... BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Yes Symbols, They are trying to trick the male brain to associate visiting the countryside with pleasure, and not just any pleasure but sexual pleasure. I saw right through it. I'm really out of touch. Anyway,I think buttons have been pushed.Basically made fun of(belittle) what some men do in their free time and considering the environment 'pushing' the responsibility of the tourism industry to men.Time to man up and save Kenya. For women, demanding intimacy instead of lust.Cashing in on the princess fantasy like the wedding shows.Overthinking it but it would be entertaining to see a debate generated by that.

Aromat Tv ad was so annoying and looked like a nursery class project. It was so ridiculous, it became a trend.. Maybe these guys were going with the same concept? Check OffersAfrica.com and look for promos, offers & Discounts from reputable businesses before you shop and Save Instantly!

Boss have you watched the Faulu Kenya commercial?
Wonder how much they paid for destroying their brand.

Not really out of touch. Only that the ad does not and will not work with those who see what the creators are obsessed with that they have to lace the ad with it. The actors are just pawns, neophytes, and they aptly live up to their status that no one really will bother with them and their acts. It just might have worked with me if they, the advertising executives, came upfront and told Kenyans its their patriotic duty, even obligation, to visit the countryside. After all the ad is about a sense of connection with the geography called Kenya.

Aromat has done well with clear intention of annoying you into getting your attention. I liked it from the first time I saw it. I asked my son to eat his eggs the other day and he told me eggs are stupid. I was more annoyed by him using that word than anything but I understood. The next day I went and bought Aromat and it was checkmate! He didn't have a comeback. You see, I've always known he's not a fan of eggs but his mother insists he has to eat because they are healthy and he doesn't vomit and as a guy that's not a fight I want to have or I can win. BBI will solve it :)

I do agree with you and other posters, the approach and exclusion was inappropriate.Since this was deliberate,I'm assuming the approach and the views its raised are all part of the strategy.

Am glad am not the only one on this Aromat thing.... If i cant find the remote, i close my eyes... because i see it, i feel like I'd cry over the annoyance................. i cant believe someone actually sat down and thought it fit to torture the innocent public for no apparent reason. Is there a way someone can sue whoever did that advert? that's mental torture... Now, when i go to a supermarket and see Aromat, i run away literally ! quite an effective advert right there...i wish they did one that cockroaches would understand....
