nani anajua, what the full names of Jesus were when he was on earth.

In Islam it is "Issa ibn Maryam" or "Jesus son of Mary"

and what were the full names of Muhammad ?

at least for the Buddhists I know Siddhartha Gautama Buddha.

"Muhammad ibn Abdullah" or "Muhammad son of Abdullah"

What about his middle name?
d'oh!

We also know @Jesus (pbuh) was son of @Mary and @Joseph!

Just because one converted from a denomination where they make statues doesn't mean everybody worships statues!

On another thread Sheikh told me toi watch who starts these arguments btwn Christians and Muslims. It is clear from first reply to this thread. Now to Jesus, the name. As some have correctly put it, it is derived from Yeshua which is the same name as Joshua. Jesus was a common name in the days Jesus the Christ lived and others are mentioned in the bible. The name Jesus doesn't mean God!

On that note I'm worried about this clean thread.

The foundation of all Christianity is the Catholic faith!

How can one deny worshiping statues and at the same time accept the concept of trinity that was introduced by the same same Catholics??

If you do some digging you will actually find people who link the 'Iēsous' translation of Yeshua to to 'Zeus' stating that 'Iēsous actually means 'Hail Zeus'. Some refrain from using 'Jesus' to address 'Yeshua' as it is a nick name given to him by the Hellenic people extracted from their Pagan god.

You have "Saint" Paul to thank for that perversion!

I always wondered why he felt the need to translate Hebrew and Aramaic to Greek and its starting to become clearer now! Sad

do your study well - it was not Paul who wrote the septuagint. Paul just wrote a number of letters to certain churches that were later collated and added to the canon. he was long dead (killed) by then. Muslims love tarnishing that guy and the guy was not even attempting to write scriptures when he was writing those letters.

Muslims do not tarnish the guy unjustly...

God forbade eating swine, Jesus never ate swine and then came along "Saint" Paul who said swine should be the delicacy of Christians! Sad

God said get circumcised, Jesus got circumcised and then came along "Saint" Paul saying circumcision is a waste of time! Sad

It was "Saint" Paul who began the introduction of Paganism into the religion of Jesus and necessitated the coming of Islam Sad

My friend the council of Nacea was a congregation set up, presided and concluded by a Pagan Emperor Constantine which was wholeheartedly accepted by Catholics as doctrine!

At this council all teachings of Paul were embraced and the Hebrew teachings of Jesus disciples that did not agree were set ablaze!

The pagan background of this council makes it even worse that such a concept is followed by most Christians to date Sad

The Council was set because of the rise in Arianism!

You see what confounds Guru is that in majority Muslim countries, anyone so much as mentioning Mohammed in bad light meets instant death from incensed mobs. In most majority Christian countries, there is more tolerance. You see we do not have to fight for the creator of the universe. We do not need organize a mob to burn down his house and kill him and family. We do not have to maintain an environment of fear so that everyone has to believe or die. We need to pray for him, so that he may change from his ways. We see him for the fool he just as the the bible says ' the fool has said in his heart, there is no God'

We know that our God is merciful, quick to forgive and is slow to anger. We also know that his anger is like a consuming fire and guys such as Mr Njoka will ultimately meet judgement. Clearly the reason he is calling his son Jesus is just to court controversy just as his Maendeleo ya wanaume thing does (by the way it has died on it's own). We are happy to leave judgement to the one who sees everything - even our thoughts and who will deal with all humanity as he sees fit.

Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

THEY DID NOT INTRODUCE!!

I know that's what they've rammed into you but:

Thomas said to Jesus in Jn 20: 28: ‘My Lord and my God!’

In Mtt 28:9, the women who saw Jesus
clasped at his feet and worshipped him

Finally in Matthew 28:16
Quote:
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
