I don't care about misinterpretation only as far as some religious zealout starts infringing on my rights..

@ecstacy oh you mean the below zealots?
Al Qaeda

Boko Haram and Hillary Clinton

@guru, I'm not one to engage in these endless religious "discussions" (does anyone ever move position?), anyway I noted I asked you one question in a previous thread which went unanswered:

In the 21st Century, yes the Bible also gets misinterpreted but on sheer numbers, why does the Koran happen to be the most misinterpreted holy book - by muslims themselves - resulting in Islam being the current bulk contributor for religious extremists?

The qur'an is simply a combination of the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David, the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the last revelation to Muhammad!

The main reason is that majority of Christians pray only on Sunday and couldn't really be bothered by what their Bible contains if doesn't include Saint Paul!

You have drawn similarities between the Bible and the Koran. You have repeatedly said the actions of the muslim extremists is due to a misinterpretation of the Koran.

No offense intended but the fact that you can draw similarities in the holy books for the two religions but still fail to explain why only one has a tyranny of terrorists goes to show there is something fundamentally wrong with the Islamic teachings or worse, the average IQ of most adherents.

You guys just crack me up... Did you know the total number of Islamist militants aka terrorists globally do not even add up to 1 million people?

Fortunately this is not how the majority of the 1.6 Billion Sunni Musllims view Islam!

Laughing out loudly Yes 1.6B adherents is a lot of people but even you guru, you take your figure of 1 MILLION crazed Islamists as a compliment??

Islam on that basis is the most buggy religion

Let me say this. I invite you @ecstacy to stand at the gate of your place of work, or go to Eastleigh, or go to town or at any university of your choice, and talk to a Muslim.

I mean let us not ask Hillary CLinton about Qur'an. Let us not ask CNN or Tom Brokaw... about how Muslim women feel. Let us not ask Daily Nation or Substandard or Daily Press etc. Let us not ask non-Muslims about Qur'an, how Muslims live, what are their principles, what are their challenges, what it says about education.

If you want to be fair, ask a Muslim. Ask a Muslim woman, ask @guru. Ask my wife (smile), ask my mother ...

You see.
Ask a Muslim who knows his/her religion, who has a relationship with the Creator, who is stable in her sosiety, who has understanding of her responsibility... ask her. And after that, I think you should be fair that you don't need to ask someone else.

But the problem is, no one really wants to ask Muslim
We want to take pictures of women in Afghanistan, and pictures of women in Palestine, and pictures of women in Pakistan and pictures of women in Nigeria. And we want to listen to what people want to say about female circumcision as if Muslims have women thousands, thirty thousand all over the world are being circumcised!

Some crazy Maina Kageni stuff!!!

I already explained but let me do it again in fewer words!

The Bible says kill apostates and the Qur'an also says kill apostates!

The difference is Most Christians have no clue that their Bible even says that and even worse they hold the constitution and UN charters higher than the Law of God!

On the otherhand Muslims who are taught to memorize the Qur'an and hold the Law of God as supreme to any other law!

For the record in this discussion, in 200 countries, there are 2.18 billion Christians.

Because you choose to ignore atrocities committed by others.

No, ms guru, umedanganywa, I do read the Bible and it does not say kill apostates however much you try link it wewe.

Where wronged in Romans 12:19, the Almighty Lord says "Vengence is mine". Murder is expressly condemned in both old and new testaments. No need even quoting that for you, it's that obvious in the Bible.

The Bible in Matthew 22:39 goes onto show how we should relate with ALL our neighbors including these "apostates" as you call them: - "Love your neighbour as you love yourself".

Humans killing or harming other humans in the name of God is a preserve of your "Islamic" religion. You guys are on your own on that so stop looking for dark company.

It is a fact Christianity during the era of the Crusades in past centuries had the tyranny of terrorists.

In the 21st Century Islam has the tyranny of terrorists, it is a fact.
