Tomas Schuman (Yuri Bezmenov), has explained this trick of subversion.

He says the planners/schemers have stopped fighting in the battle-field, and yet implement their ideologies, is not to fight at all. It is to subvert, make these things desirable, then you take your enemy without a single shot fired!

This is the trick

He defines subversion as made up of four steps.
I will explain one step "Demoralization"

Demoralization of society, takes 15-20 years, to educate one generation by propaganda methods. He says when someone throws a blow to you, don't try to stop the blow, avoid it, grab the fist and continue its movement. Identify that section of society which is going against the basic moral values of the society, capitalize on these movements. Recruit them, all the movements, continue that movement until the society collapses

Do this in the following areas:
- religion
- education
- social life
- power structure
- unions and activists
- in the law e.g. legalizing homosexuality

These are the areas of application of subversion

So the planners of subversion picks an area, say religion. They destroy it, ridicule it, replaces it with various sects, cults, which brings people's attention. Slowly erode the religious dogma, and taken away from the purpose of religion (of keeping people in touch with supreme Being)
Replace these respected and accepted religious organizations with fake organizations. Distract people's attention, from the real faith and attract them to various different faiths.
